The five-member taskforce on restructuring the Bangladesh Telegraph and
Telephone Board (BTTB) finalised its report Monday suggesting that the
board be transformed into a state-owned company under the Companies Act

The Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB) is
unlikely to
commence its GSM mobile network in June 2004. Sharp division within
the bid evaluation committee overshadows timely procurement of
mobile exchanges, base stations and other equipment for this
presumably cheapest mobile service. The controversy may lead to re-
